Returns and Exchanges


Approval is required before returning any books. Approval is gained by requesting a Return Authorization Number (RA #) within 10 days of receiving the merchandise. Books may only be returned for a credit towards future purchases. Please do not return any books until you have received a Return Authorization Number (RA #). All return requests must be submitted in writing and mailed to On Point Saliency – RA # Request, PO Box 781371, Orlando, FL 32878-1371; or by submitting an email to coldhardfacts@ldacprep.com.  

Before returning a book, please understand the following:

  1. BOOKS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT ARE NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF LDACPREP or On Point Saliency (OPS); please make a claim with the appropriate carrier.
  2. Books returned without a Return Authorization Number (RA #) will not be accepted for return credit and will only be returned to the customer upon request, at the customer’s expense. This request must be made within 30 days from the time OPS receives the book.
  3. Customer is responsible for return postage and shipping. An insured carrier must be used for all returns.
  4. Customer’s money will not be refunded for book purchases. A new book will be sent to the customer if RA # is issued.
 Return Shipping Instructions: 
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to wrap the book in a protective manner.
  • Shipping costs and tracking are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Books must be returned by a traceable method (e.g., UPS, FedEX, RPS). The customer is responsible for the returns shipment until we receive it.
  • Place the shipping invoice inside the return package with the book to include the RA #.
  • The RA # must be clearly written on the outside packaging.
  • Returned books must be shipped to On Point Saliency – RA # (insert issued number), P.O. Box 781371, Orlando, FL 32878-1371 USA
  • We suggest that you return the book in the same type of material you received the book in. There are two important steps in successful book packaging: Keep it clean and immobilize it.
 
Merchandise must be

All other merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase. All returned merchandise must be in original condition along with packaging (e.g. warranty information, instructions, box, etc...) A 20% restocking fee will be applied on all return orders.  
Custom orders made to your specifications cannot be returned for exchange or credit, (i.e. Embroidered Name Tags, Embroidered Helmet Bands, Class A Name Tags, and Dog Tags).

Returns or exchanges will be accepted on items which have been used for their intended purpose. We will not accept items for return or exchange if they have been subjected to unusual application or abuse.
